BREST, France (AP) — Struggling French league membership Brest on Tuesday appointed Eric Roy as head coach till the tip of the season, in hopes the 55-year-old will assist his Brittany facet keep within the high league.

Brest sits within the relegation zone two factors away from security after 17 video games.

Roy will change Michel Der Zakarian, who was sacked in October after main the staff to only one win in 10 rounds.

As a participant, Roy appeared in 349 French league video games. He’ll coach his first staff since his temporary time at Good over 10 years in the past. He additionally served as sporting director at Lens and Watford.
